FAQ

How does True Bokeh work?

The app sets the camera's focus point to as close as possible. When this is done, bright light sources cause a 'bokeh' (light circle) effect naturally due to the camera lens. The best photos are taken in low light with bright individual light sources.

How do I take good bokeh photos?

It's best to take photos is a lower-light environment, with bright light sources. This includes strings of lights, city lights, fireworks, holiday light decorations, and more. You can also check out photos from other users on Instagram for inspiration.

Why is everything blurry?

In order to get the 'bokeh' effect, the camera lens is set to be focused as close as possible. This means that you can only focus on objects very close to the camera.
